Sweat Your Way To Wellness

If you can sweat profusely for a few minutes every day this can make you feel lighter, more energetic, more alive and vibrant.

How does sweating work For Wellness?

Sweating works by eliminating or 'washing out'  the impurities, harmful chemical components  and salts that tend to accumulate in your body. Since this is waste elimination working at the level of your skin, it tends to open up the pores, and your skin is able to breathe freely creating a more healthy circulation for you... hence making you feel more alive and energetic.

It's just like when you open the windows of your room after a really long time, allowing the fresh air to circulate and freshen up the room, releasing the stuffiness in there replacing it with a lighter, healthier and cleaner environment.

If you don't sweat for a long time... say several days or months on end, you tend to get sluggish, and may even get sick.

How to Sweat?

  • By staying in a really hot environment either natural or created artificially like in a sauna.

  • Doing continuous physical exercise say walking briskly for half an hour .

  • or using gym equipment such as an elliptical trainer for 10 - 15 minutes.

  • Doing aerobics or other exercise that pumps up your heart and makes your blood flow faster and keeping this up for say half an hour.

  • Doing hot Yoga.

Precautions:

Sweating makes you loose water. So you need to drink adequately to replenish your liquid supplies. Remember you need 6-8 glasses of water anyways for a healthy mind and body... and if you sweat, then make sure you drink extra water, over and above your regular needs. In case of excessive sweating , you might need to replenish the salts in your body as well... using some kind of energy drink.
